We swapped over to a more modern format that should make it easier for us to post cool content and for you to navigate around and use the site. Our goal is to build this site into an interesting hub of information about the ECTA and our members. For us to do that we're looking for a little help from you! We'd like you to send us images, stories, and video, and whatever else you have going on with your car and team through the season.
Because we're about a month away from the first meet of the year we'd love to see pictures and stories about what you had going on in the off-season. New motor? New Car? New class? Freshening up old stuff? Photos of the smoking carnage from 2014? That's all cool stuff that we want to share here. After meets if you produce press releases or information for your sponsors, we want that too. The website can be a valuable tool in helping to spread the word.
We'd love member generated race reports, race recaps, and whatever other fun stuff you run into. If you are a historian or enthusiast that would like to see their work published here, we'd love to give you the platform. Tech stories, information, we're pretty much 100% wide open to ideas.
Because we have added some features we wanted to point them out:
1.) Commenting – Yes, you will now be able to comment on stories that appear on the website. Look for this to be a place where we solicit your feedback.
2.) Sharing – Each story will have a share button that you'll be able to use and pick one (or multiple) ways to share it on social media. This is handy!
3.) Menus at the top of the page – In an effort to make navigation more easy we have consolidated some of the menus. Please go through them and tell us if we're missing stuff!
